This ABC program highlights some of the issues we have been raising about the imprisonment of Palestinians in Israeli prisons. Their treatment was bad before October 7, 2023, but has worsened since then (we have already noted the influence of words, like
“hostages” – Israeli people snatched by Hamas and “prisoners” – Palestinians imprisoned, often without trial, by Israel): there are currently at least 9,000 such prisoners in Israeli jails.
