UnitingCare Children Young People and Families formed in July 2006 through the integration of four agencies within UnitingCare NSW/ACT. The coming together of these agencies was a great step forward in providing a continuum of services to children, young people and their families throughout NSW/ACT. UnitingCare Burnside - concern for social justice and the needs of people who are disadvantaged are based on Christian values which inform the way we serve and represent people and communities. All of Burnside's services are inclusive and based on achieving just, safe, nurturing and healthy life experiences for children, young people and families. We aim to protect children from abuse and neglect by breaking the cycles of disadvantage and building on strengths. Our out-of-home care services provide children and young people who cannot live with their families with saafe and stabel environments where they can flourish.

Parramatta Mission has been providing services to people who are homeless, people facing crisis and people living with mental illness for over 40 years. The Mission’s broader history can be traced back to the opening of the first Wesleyan Methodist Chapel on the current head office site in 1821. Parramatta Mission’s expansive community programs were born out of the early Wesleyan’s ethos of outreach, community and inclusiveness. Today, Parramatta Mission is one of the largest providers of community mental health services in New South Wales, as well as one of the largest providers of community services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Western Sydney.
